Clarus is the 1. planet in the Aestus (MAG380) system
written by jamesdon380
The Clarean homeworld is in danger.
The inhabitants exist in blissful ignorance of the horror to come.
Unaware of much and knowing so little they start to make tentative steps to the edge of their bubble of influence in their unending universe. Telling all with their powerful electromagnetic transmissions as they broke away from the final hold of gravity and made it into the immense emptiness of space.
They were arrogant, they believed they were the first in the galaxy to to make these advances. They saw no signs of life outside their system or within.
They were right. Those watching, gave no signs of life, intentionally concealing themselves nearby, waiting, patiently.......
