May i introduce a work in progress;

The Kanid Empire!

The Kanids being descendents of some marooned test pilots (who only recently rediscovered their origins and long buried technology), who have conquered and enslaved the natives of their landing site, the plant based Lexans.

The Kanid Empire has simple aims;

1. Survive.

2. Expand.

3. find out where the hell they come from.

 To that end they wish to make contact with everyone out there and then, conquer the weak and hide from the strong. However their slaves are far more evolved and passive, though unimaginative, and have taken upon themselves a holy quest to save their masters before its too late for them.

Currently the Kanids inhabit only one system in a mid spiral arm, The Lex, Perhaps they will grow further.....
