The principal components of this star system are the stars 'LAB944.A' and 'LAB944.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'LAB944.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 96% of the system's known mass, 'LAB944.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 3% of the system's known mass.

System 'LAB944' is located more than 5362 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

LAB944.1 is a large terrestrial planet (8131 km radius) which orbits its star in 210 Earth days, one day on LAB944.1 lasts 5 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1672 K (1399 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 11 moons.
