Solar system 'Fallanor (PEH471)' comprises the star 'Fallanor' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 19 planets and their 1316 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Fallanor', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 99.54% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Fallanor is located more than 2149 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Fallanor 5, the fifth planet in this system, features organic life forms with an average intelligence that have developed a high tech civilisation capable of utilizing hyperspace technology to explore their own solar system as well as distant star systems. Its average temperature is 330K (57C) and it's atmosphere contains 22% of oxygen. One year on Fallanor 5 lasts 1499 days, one day lasts 38 hours. It's diameter is 7208 km, 0.5 times the diameter of the Earth.

This star, for unexplained reasons, has an extremely eliptical orbit around the centre of the galaxy and seems to be moving faster than the stars around it, constantly changing its position in the galaxy.

Fallanor 1 is a very small terrestrial planet (2315 km radius) which orbits its star in 12 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 1 lasts 65 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1190 K (917 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 0 moons.

This planet has been used for mining operations by the people of Fallanor 5, but what little this lava-ridden planet had to offer has been completely stripped away.

Fallanor 2 is a very small terrestrial planet (2265 km radius) which orbits its star in 33 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 2 lasts 68 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1325 K (1052 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen and it has 0 moons.

This planet has been used for mining operations by the people of Fallanor 5, but what little this lava-ridden planet had to offer has been completely stripped away.

Fallanor 3 is a large terrestrial planet (8130 km radius) which orbits its star in 444 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 3 lasts 22 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1004 K (731 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and it has 26 moons.

Fallanor 6 is a large terrestrial planet (8210 km radius) which orbits its star in 2754 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 6 lasts 22 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 176 K (-97 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 23 moons.

This frozen planet was an uninteresting wasteland with no life and little to offer aside from its moons, which in a statistical improbability, all habour life.

Fallanor 7 is a small terrestrial planet (3547 km radius) which orbits its star in 5060 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 7 lasts 38 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 91 K (-182 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 13 moons.

This planet and its moons are wastelands of deserts and icy plains.

Fallanor 8 is a medium gas giant (35170 km radius) which orbits its star in 9297 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 8 lasts 19 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1560 K (1287 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen and it has 120 moons.

This gas giant contains rare gasses that have been harnessed by the people of Fallanor 5.

Fallanor 9 is a huge terrestrial planet (13162 km radius) which orbits its star in 19486 Earth days, one day on Fallanor 9 lasts 20 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1015 K (742 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen and it has 120 moons.

This planet is covered in a rocky desert.

Originally called Fallanor 19, this rocky planet as re-named after the death of the Fallanorian astronomer who discovered it.
