The principal component of this star system is the star 'VKG824', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.07% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. VKG824 is located more than 4180 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

VKG824.5, the fifth planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 268K (-5C) and it's atmosphere contains 40% of oxygen. One year on VKG824.5 lasts 915 days, one day lasts 28 hours. It's diameter is 7666 km, 0.6 times the diameter of the Earth.
