Currently, I'm devoted to the creation of the Azumar system. Though it's a community star, I see it as my own, having devoted so much time and effort into it. The third planet in this system, Azu, contains a plethora of life, living mostly beneath the surface, but also on the salt plains and dead coral-like forests that dominate the dry surface of the planet.  The main phylums that make up the subterranean ecosystems on Azu are the mul, a parasitic worm-like species, and the kraylith, a crustacean-like species. Also, a gastropod-like species called the lithum feed on algae on the salt plains.

A sentient kraylith species called the Aru live beneath the surface in vast cities. They have spacefaring technology and are in the process of colonizing extrasolar worlds, but have yet to make contact with any extraterrestrial life. The Aru are divided into different nations, the most powerful being Rahiog, followed by Zulvek and Kurj. They were originally one great nation known now as the Unified Dynasty(UD). The UD somewhat resembled a theocracy, being led by the Ogaruki. The Ogaruki was always the oldest member of society because it was believed that they knew, better than anyone else, the will of Og(God). The UD became divided when instead of the the title of Ogaruki being given to the oldest member, the children of the last true Ogaruki all claimed the title for themselves. They fought among themselves over territory until there were three dominant nations; Zulvek, Kurj, and Rahiog.
